Posted October 27, 2018 06:12:24 The owner of a Missouri nail plant who was hit by a car while tending her garden said it took her a month to get back on her feet after being bitten.

Lisa Lacey’s injuries required surgery and her recovery was slow.

“I started feeling like I was a bit more of a cripple after I was bitten,” she said.

Ms Lacey said she was out of work and didn’t know how to pay the bills, but her husband helped pay her bills.

Ms Mathers is from Missouri and she said the incident happened when she was tending her lawn.

“It was kind of a weird situation where I was tending my lawn and suddenly there was this big ball of grass,” she explained.

“So I started trying to push it away and then it went in my mouth.”

She said she spent about a month in the hospital.

“My wife came out and we’re sitting on the couch talking about what happened and she goes, ‘You need to get your nails fixed’,” Ms Lathers said.

“”She didn’t have any insurance and she was in a really tough position,” Ms Lacy said. “

She said her husband was able to pay for her medical bills. “

Ms Koehler said the pain was making her want to quit her job, but it helped her feel more optimistic about her recovery. “

She helped me out, and she has her own insurance and that’s when we decided to get a home improvement company and get it fixed,” she added.

“People don’t realize how long it takes to recover from something like that,” she noted.

“There are no signs of the infection.”

Ms Lattner said she is thankful her injuries were minor.

“You just need to take it easy, you just have to do what you have to, because you don’t know what could be,” she admitted.

“They can be deadly.”
